The Official Canada Green Card Program
In addition to the fact that all winners will be listed in the WINNER section of the Canada Green Card website, applicants (Canada Green Card's winners) will be notified, by regular mail, email and phone, by a CIH immigration consultant. CIH will handle your file and help to relocate both your family and yourself into Canada.
6. I am not eligible, can I participate?
If you are not eligible, Canada Green Card will work with you to improve your assessment and become eligible. Upon improvement, you will be able to participate in the (Canada Green Card) Canadian Immigration Financial Assistance program at no extra cost.
7. If I already applied and paid the fees, how can I benefit from your financial program
If you apply with Canada Green Card and you win, you are entitled to benefit from our financial program and CIH will process your file free of charge, and will pay on your behalf all fees for entering Canada.
8. After I have submitted all my documents, how long will it take to complete the immigration process?
Canada Green Card hires an immigration consultant (a member of the SICC) to handle your immigration file. Once your file is completed, a Canada Green Card committee will disburse the government processing fees and submit your file to immigration authorities. The length of time it takes to finalize an application by the Canadian Embassy and High Commission is different from one country to another. Various issues often affect the delay, such as the number of applications and the security background check of each individual.
9. Does Canada Green Card help in securing accommodation and jobs for the candidate?
CIH does not secure jobs nor accommodation, but CIH Consultants can give you all the advice and information needed about living in Canada. Once you’ve landed you will be assisted in getting your official Canadian residency ID and documents.
10. How does one generally settle down e.g. children in schools, etc?
This information is listed under "Schools" in the yellow pages of your telephone book. This selection is usually based on where you live and which system you prefer. In general one week is good enough.
